We will miss you Oscar De la Renta

 

 

 

Last night, the Fashion Industry revealed the saddest news. Fashion Designer Icon, Oscar De la Renta, passed away at 82.

 

De la Renta was one of the most influential designers to have hit the New York Runway during the 60's and 70's as New York established it'self. Europeans were shaping the fashion scene in the City and it still remains a powerful force today.

 

De La Renta known for his red carpet couture gowns and day time suits for the "ladies who lunch."

 

 

Here are some of his most iconic looks including his most recent design,  a wedding dress for the bride of George Clooney.

Pre-Fashion Week Kick Off Industry Party and Trunk Show

 

 

The Haute House Design Studio rocked the Harborside Lounge last Thursday, October 2nd, 2014  for our very first

Pre-Fashion Week event.

 

Stylistas and Stylistos were in attendance as well as hair stylists, make up artists, fashion writers and entrepreneurs mixed and mingling with each other.

 

 

 

What an exciting way to kick off Boston Fashion Week! The energy in the room was absolutely wonderful filled with vendors such as
